Database Query Caching

Hey guys,
i just started working with ROM and it’s awesome far!
I’m wondering if there’s any API to cache database queries with redis, memcached, etc or if i have to implement such functionality myself.
Since I couldn’t find anything on this topic in the docs on ROM - Introduction and i have seen this 4yr old thread Caching API Discussion - #2 by solnic, I think there’s no such functionality yet.

Any help or pointers are greatly appreciated.

Hey,

So far nobody had the time to build it. I’m considering building it as one of commercial extensions that companies will be able to access via paid subscription.
